藤本卓也先生（消化器外科学）の論文がBiomarialsにアクセプト
岡山大学大学院医歯薬学総合研究科消化器外科（藤原俊義教授）との共同研究の結果がBiomaterials誌にアクセプトされました。論文タイトルは「BNCT Pancreatic Cancer Treatment Strategy with glucose-conjugated boron drug」です。がん患者の遺伝子情報に基づくホウ素薬剤創薬というプレシジョンBNCTを実証した世界初の論文です。遺伝子解析の結果、グルコース結合ホウ素薬剤を用いたBNCTがCA19-9高値の難治性膵がんモデルへ有効であることを示しました。
The results of collaborating project with the Department of Gastroenterological Surgery (Prof Toshiyoshi FUJIWARA), Okayama University, have been accepted for publication in “Biomaterials”. The paper is entitled “BNCT Pancreatic Cancer Treatment Strategy with glucose-conjugated boron drug”. This is the first paper in the world to demonstrate Precision BNCT, a boron drug discovery strategy based on genetic information of cancer patients. BNCT using a glucose-binding boron drug, created as a result of gene analysis of cancer patients, was shown to be effective in a refractory pancreatic cancer model with high CA19-9 levels.
